In 1963 Lorraine Paterson began the now Park like Garden that covers 6 acres of land, this was a labour of love for Lorraine and as you explore this vast garden you get a sense of the history and decades of work that have gone in to developing the garden.

The garden consists of many rhododendrons, conifers and other beautiful trees, some developed by Lorraine herself. There are ponds and streams and hidden paths to explore.

Sharon with the help of family and friends is now restoring the garden back to it’s former glory to preserve it for generations to come.

The Garden is open by appointment and will be open on select Sundays for the public to enjoy. Highlights of the year are family days held for Easter and Christmas with Bunny and Elf hunts to delight the children while adults can enjoy the garden.

Umm, excuse me.....I think you left the sensible one at home!

How are you surviving the high temperatures..... or has it cooled down? We have family in Melbourne, and always take note of the temps on the weather map. My daughter doesn't do heat.... like me.
